The CFC component is placed into a high-temperature vacuum furnace and heated at a predetermined temperature.

A coating is formed on the CFC substrate surface through a series of complex physicochemical reactions between the cementation powder charge and the CFC specimen surface.

This method can be employed to fabricate silicon-containing coatings or to facilitate silicon infiltration into the CFC substrate.
